For Government Survey on Planning, 3 November 2020 The planning system in England should be geared more to the realities and challenges we face of living within this natural world, especially re-orientated towards climate and environmental responsibility, and especially biodiversity maintenance and enhancement. This requires » sustainable communities » global responsibility, especially for climate change and global pollution and poverty » environmentally-sensitive integration of human living and working with the natural world » environmentally-sensitive agriculture, horticulture and fishing » putting the economy in its proper place as serving good human functioning rather than demanding to be served by it. And, in my view, a responsibility not only to future generations, and the natural world, but also the their Creator. For an example, see: "http://kgsvr.net/andrew/planning/SustValeRoyal-1987.pdf"
