Engaging with PostSecular Thinking

Postsecular thinking is not anti-secular, but realises the limitations of secular thought. Christians (e.g. evangelicals, pentecostals, Roman Catholics) have either been antagonistic to secularity or (liberals) have acquiesced to it. Therefore neither side is truly able to engage with postsecular thought. Because neither have any basis on which to do so. Nor has secularism any basis for engagement with Christianity. The New View tries to provide a basis for engagement, along the lines of:

Neither antagonism, nor acquiescence,
but seeing the world's thought as impaired insight

which is explained elsewhere.

New View tries to remain faithful to what God is saying via the Scriptures and in Jesus Christ, while at the same time immanently understanding the motivations and presuppositions of postsecular thought. Exposing the presuppositions of postsecular thought, and acknowledging its own presuppositions, provides a basis for critical engagement, which can:
