Errata in Foundations of Information Systems: Research and Practice

This web page lists errors discovered in my book Foundations of Information Systems: Research and Practice, published by Routledge in 2017.

Page: Entry page with summary, before Title Page: The abbreviation "ITC" should be "ICT", standing for 'information and communication technology'.

Page 19, first page of Chapter 2, Philosophies: First sentence of third paragraph has comma in wrong place, giving completely the wrong implication. It should be, "I was stunned and left her, determined not to show such ignorance again." Instead of "I was stunned, and left her determined not to show such ignorance again." Important error because it wrongly implicates her. It was I, not her, who felt stupid. (Corrected on the Amiga version.)

Page 52. '"There is no truth in itself" wrote Dooyeweerd (1955,III, 577).' The reference should be "(1955,II, 577)".

Chapter 12

p.409. The section in which Emergence and Supervenience is discussed ("See") is not §3-7.1 but §3-7.4.4.

Index

Index entry for Critical Realism refers to page 521; this should be 52.

Index entry "eudaimomina" should read "eudaimonia".
